COVID19 - New Normal?

Last few weeks has taught me quite a bit. In the face of adversity a person's true character can shine through, and the ability to think creatively is a true super power. ... also I'm pretty handy when I need to be. My home office now has a 2nd work station, even if a little crude. 😁

1. Information Technology is no longer a special skill to have, but an essential tool in the modern workplace.
2. Calm and collected thoughts trump chaotic haste.
3. Lots of organizations talk the talk, but few actually walk the walk.
4. Every one of us has their crosses to carry, so try not to be an a**hole when you're interacting with others.
5. We still have a love affair with charisma and charm, over skill and ability. The balance hasn't been struck yet.
6. No one is above mistakes.
7. Employees should respect their relationship with their employers for what it is. In fact, it's time to change the mindset to a mutually beneficial business arrangement between entities.
8. In adversity, every business relationship will be stressed, and each party will need to make decisions in the interest of survival.
9. Cell phones / tablets are more than social media portals.
10. People all around the world are the same.
